I like to consider myself a “frugal mom”, although I think everyone’s idea of “frugal” might be different. This is how much we spent on a 4 day beach trip (including hotel, gas, and all food) for my family of four, and I was pretty proud of us!

Needless to say, my husband does not love this grocery savings approach. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤪

Might be a hot take but I truly think this helps us save money on groceries! Not to mention how creative & resourceful I am getting during those last 2-3 days trying to scrape everything out of the pantry and fridge!

We waste sooo much less food ever since I started doing this too!!

I’ve always loved the story of Christ feeding the 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fishes. After my 4 year old requested “loaves and fishes” for dinner a few weeks ago, this is how I’m applying this miracle to our finances.
