A new episode of the Pursuing Quality Long-Term Care podcast is now available!

Long-term care residents don’t give up their rights when they move into a nursing home or assisted living facility, and that includes their right to vote. In this episode, we break down what laws and regulations protect residents, the barriers residents commonly face when voting, and how residents, families, and advocates can ensure residents are able to access their right to vote.

With midterm elections coming up, we discuss what facilities should be doing to help ensure this election season goes smoothly, and we talk about best practices when it comes to voting.

This is less than $100 to buy clothing, pay for their cell phone, get snacks they enjoy, and other comforts that bring joy and dignity to a person's daily life.
