First-time homebuyers get so much advice — from friends, social media, and potentially an aunt, uncle, or cousin — who bought their first house 𝙞𝙣 1998.😅

It’s officially Summerfest weekend! 🎉

One of my favorite things about serving this community is getting to be part of traditions like Bourbon, Summerfest.

Looking back at these pictures of my boys, their friends & the many parade memories made me smile. I must say, I’ve always had the cutest little crew.

Good lending is part numbers, part strategy—and a willingness to stay curious before reaching a conclusion.

I’m incredibly excited for what comes next for this buyer, and very glad she didn’t let one discouraging experience become the final word.

No one dreams about an affordable mortgage.

They dream about slow Sunday mornings.

Kids running through the backyard.

Hosting holidays.

Coffee on the porch.

Building equity > lining a landlord’s pockets.

A place that finally feels like home.

The mortgage is just the part that makes those moments possible.

Which is why I think people spend too much time asking, “Can we get approved?”

And not enough time asking, “Will this home still let us live the life we pictured once the excitement wears off?”

Those are two very different conversations.

Most people think choosing a mortgage lender is about finding the lowest rate.

It’s not.

Two lenders can quote the exact same rate and still leave you with completely different outcomes because they don’t have access to the same loan programs.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I joined CMG.

More financing options means more ways to solve problems, structure a loan, or help someone buy a home who might have been told “no” somewhere else.

Most buyers never ask what their lender can’t offer.
