The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is here, October 15 - December 7th, I want to make sure you’re prepared for what will occur. As a reminder, during this time you are able to change your plan or make adjustments to your coverage. For this reason you can expect to receive a lot of phone calls and mailers from various national sales organizations advertising alternative plans. You can also expect to see plenty of commercials with celebrities endorsing additional benefits.
Now remember, I am here to ensure you have the best coverage available to you. If you have questions about your plan or about other plans in your area, feel free to contact me as your local Medicare insurance broker. I work with many of the top carriers in Missouri, Florida and Texas and have been reviewing plan updates to ensure I can provide the most up to date information and local market insight. This local knowledge gives me the ability to find the right fit for each of my clients as we look forward to next year.
You should anticipate receiving your annual notice of change letter provided by your current insurance provider. My recommendation is that you read the annual notice of change to see benefit adjustments that may affect you in the coming year. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out for clarity. If you’re satisfied with the updates to your current plan, you do not have to re-enroll, your current plan will carry over to the 2025 year. However, you can still call to review to compare your plan to others on the market.
As always please feel free to contact me anytime.
Hoping everyone has a safe and happy year!
