Interesting facts about •TOWER PARK•
Did you know the park was named by Mrs Lois Dysert in May of 1962? The Warren Park Board held a "Name the Park" contest and Lois won first prize, earning $25 for submitting the winning name. At that time, the new baseball diamond was being prepared for the new season. They hoped to start construction on two tennis courts and one basketball court, which would be blacktopped and curbed to provide winter ice skating also.
