It’s the final Friday of Miracle May, and we’re closing things out by sharing one more incredible story that reflects the strength of local kids and the care that surrounds them.

Meet Piper. After experiencing multiple seizures, Piper spent time in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune neurological disorder. Through every challenge, she was supported by a care team who brought comfort, guidance, and hope to her family during an incredibly difficult time.

Today, Piper has been seizure free since June and loves spending time with her family, drawing, and playing sports with the Houston County Sharks.
