Yesterday, we had the honor of joining First National Bank of Commerce in celebrating the retirement of Sonja Adkisson after an incredible 48 years of service. 🎉

For nearly five decades, Sonja has been a steady, trusted presence — not just within the bank, but throughout the community. That kind of commitment is rare, and the impact it leaves behind is lasting.

It was great to see so many people come together to celebrate her career, share memories, and say thank you. (Sonja is pictured second from the right.)

The 2026 Ag Appreciation Expo was a tremendous success — and we want to take a moment to say thank you to those who helped make it possible.

Executive Director Terrence Ward recently presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Vice President & Loan Officer Cooper Smith of First National Bank of Commerce in recognition of their Gold Sponsorship of this year’s Expo.
