Today we are highlighting the Military Appreciation Group (MAG) at CSAA IG.
This employee resource group identifies, celebrates, and provides resources for employees and their family members of CSAA IG who are members of the armed forces (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, or Retired, to include their family members) by identifying and communicating company/community resources while providing support for those employees directly/indirectly impacted by military service.
"Supporting the Military Appreciation Group is deeply personal for me, especially as we approach Memorial Day. My father served in the Korean War and my uncle served in World War II - both earning Purple Hearts.
Through MAG, I’ve had the opportunity to turn that connection into action. This year I hosted the Memorial Day weekend flag placement at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, where my coworkers and my family will come together to honor fallen service members and ensure no hero is forgotten. In April, our MAG efforts also included participating in the Pat Tillman Run in Arizona.
As Co‑Lead of CSAA’s Military Appreciation Group, I’m proud these efforts reinforce that honoring service is a year‑round practice rooted in action.
Culture groups at CSAA are a key part of our Inclusion and Belonging commitment. They create space for employees to bring their lived experiences into the workplace in ways that build understanding, connection, and shared purpose."
