Free business advice from a multi-millionaire.
1. Remove EVERYONE on your page who’s not supporting and replace them with people who ENGAGE and care about what you have to say/offer/teach. You’ve known your friends for 10+ years and your family all your life. Guess what? Most of them are STILL cold leads. And won’t support you until after you make it. Dry your eyes and get over it. Focus on the STRANGERS!
2. I don’t care if you get 5 or 50 likes, NEVER STOP promoting yourself. My business posts use to get less than 50 likes. And I still made $9,950 in my FIRST 30 days of launching with 0 experience. No mentors. No coaches. No ad spend. And 832 fb friends. But I KEPT going and now my following is at almost 70,000. In 3 years. (Proof of my low engagement from 2017 in the comments) 🧾
3. Stop comparing your progress and wins to everybody else’s. When I post about how I just broke a record, I am NOT speaking about a contest between me and other people. I am speaking about me breaking record sales based on my previous sales. I compete with MYSELF. So, I’m never disappointed. What God has for me is for me. I don’t want what YOU have. And you can’t take away what’s MINE.
4. Be CONSISTENT. Stop looking at others who have seen immediate success. That is not the case for everyone. Sometimes you have a FAST 💨 start that ends quickly and abruptly. Focus on staying consistent even when you don’t see the results right away. So that when (NOT IF) you have your big win, you don’t become a one ☝🏽 hit wonder. Those wins are now consistent. The testimonies are consistent. The engagement is consistent. The ROI is consistent. Stay the course. Do you want the microwave or do you want the stove?
5. Invest in a trusted mentor/coach. What I have learned in my journey is that I was able to go FAST 🏃🏽♀️💨 all by myself. But I was able to go FURTHER when I brought people with me. So my question is, do you wanna go fast or do you wanna go far?
6. Stop trying to convince people to do business with you. God has already aligned you with people who are part of your assignment. If they don’t get it, they were not meant to get it. The people who are meant for you, ask the LEAST amount of questions. Because they’ve already done their research before attempting to waste your time. You know what they say. “don’t nobody ask more questions than a person who ain’t spending no money”
7. Invest in marketing courses and trainings. Learn about buyers psychology. Find out who your customer avatar is. Learn how to target people who exhibit specific behaviors that confirm that they are looking for your products/services. If you try to market to everyone, you will reach NO ONE. Someone who sells bundles and lashes, should not be targeting people who sell real estate and flip houses. Those are not your avatars.
8. Write down your goals. No matter how unrealistic they may seem. It makes a world of difference when you wake up every single day looking at goals that you physically wrote out. This is a form of speaking life into an over yourself. No one is going to do that for you the way that you will. SPEAK LIFE and watch life manifest.
9. Stop making posts attacking people in the same industry as you. Stop making posts about drama. Stop making posts attacking your clients and customers. Stop making posts about you having all of these haters. Stop making posts about people stalking your page. Even if you are 100% justified to be upset, you look like 🗣DRAMA. And people will visit your profile and think “He/she ALWAYS got SOMETHING going on. Somebody is always bothering or hating on them. I’m going to go over here with Ashley because everything she posts is positive.” And just like that, I may have just made a sale off of someone who WANTED to come to you.” I used myself as an example because I have seen this happen thousands of times with my own eyes.
10. Make sure that you are protecting your energy at all times. That includes being cautious about who you follow, look up to and get inspired by. Just because they make a lot of money and flash a lot of shiny things, doesn’t mean that this is someone you should be doing business with. Check out their reviews to see what other people have said about them. Look and listen to the way that they treat people who can do nothing for them. Pay attention to their character as their income level changes. This will usually tell you everything you need to know about a person. Energy vampires are REAL. And they can transfer that energy right through these social media apps.
