‼️Today I received PMR’s Annual Culture Award for Grit.

I am humbled and honored by the recognition!

I entered this industry as a young loan officer, in one of the toughest markets in years. People told me it was bad timing. Some thought I was naïve. Others assumed I wouldn’t make it on my own.

They were wrong.

I never questioned whether it would be difficult. I just decided I would forget whatever “difficult” meant or was supposed to mean, and pay even less attention to whatever everyone else called “difficult”.

From day one, I set out to build something real. A career built on integrity. A reputation for clarity, responsiveness, and doing the right thing when no one is watching. A business that helps families build generational wealth through homeownership.

Grit is not about hype. It’s about discipline. It’s about showing up when it would be easier not to.

This award is meaningful because it reflects the standard I hold myself to every single day.

And we’re just getting started!

8️⃣ Families served in the month of November! It was a huge honor for me to be a part of their stories. There were first homes, dream homes, investment properties, and even a cash-out refinance that gave my borrowers capital to put back into their home with some high return-on-investment updates.

A huge thank you to ALL of my clients, their agents, the title companies, and each and every member of my team who helped make this happen!

Two years ago, I snapped this photo right after passing the exam to become a licensed loan officer. I’d already quit my salaried job at a local bank the day before, so passing the exam on my first try was really the only option 😂

The last two years have been nothing short of incredible. I’ve learned a ton- not just about the industry but about myself as a person. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that there’d been some scary months. I’d also be lying if I said there weren’t months so exciting they took my breath away.

I couldn’t have come this far without an army of support behind me — starting with my wife, who always believed I could do whatever I put my mind too and never doubted me for a second. I also couldn’t have done it without my friends and family who encouraged me along the way, especially Mr. Brent White, who took a chance on a young kid who had no idea what he was signing up for but was ready to run through a brick wall if it meant finding success on the other side. Last but definitely not least is the incredible company I work for, full of awesome human beings who will drop what they’re doing on a dime to help answer questions or offer suggestions.

Since this photo, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 50 families buy or refinance homes, with many of them being first-time homebuyers.

This past summer, I hit a milestone that once felt out of reach: consistently funding over $1,000,000 in home loans per month for 3 consecutive months. I’m deeply grateful to the clients and agent partners who made that possible and humbled to work alongside loan officers and team members I deeply respect and continue to learn from every single day. This is just the start!!

All this to say — go after your dreams.
Life’s too short not to do what you love.
