Important Update Regarding After-Hours Voicemail

We have finally heard back from our phone system provider regarding our after-hours voicemail issue. Unfortunately, we have been informed that the after-hours voicemail messages are no longer available and cannot be recovered.

***Procession time closer to 3 PM ***

This is the Wadsworth portion of the law enforcement funeral procession for fallen Rittman Police Sergeant Scott Ries. The procession will begin at approximately 2:30 or 3 PM, and travel SB on High Street from Northside Christian Church, west on I-76, and south on SR 57 to Rittman.

Vehicles and pedestrians must yield for a funeral procession.

We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and respect as our community comes together to honor the life and service of Rittman Police Sergeant Scott Ries.

On Friday, July 10th, a law enforcement funeral procession will take place in our City to es**rt fallen Rittman Police Sergeant Scott Ries to his final resting place at the Rittman Cemetery.

We would like to notify the public of temporary traffic delays starting at approximately 2:30 PM on the north side of the City. The procession will begin at 7615 Ridge Road and travel south on High Street (SR 94), west on I-76, and then south on State Route 57 and onward to Rittman. A map is attached in the comments of the route in Wadsworth, and a Google Map is linked in the comments with the full route to Rittman.

We respectfully ask motorists to plan for extra travel time, consider alternate routes if possible, and to follow the instructions of officers directing traffic. Pedestrians and vehicles must yield the right of way to each vehicle that is part of the procession.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 9th, from 2-8 PM at the Northside Christian Church. The funeral service begins Friday, July 10th, at 1 PM.

One of our own has a very special little guy we’d love to introduce you to!

Enrique has been selected as a Top 10 finalist in the Toddler of the Year competition, and we couldn’t be more proud. At just 3 years old, he’s already shown incredible resilience, a huge personality, and a smile that can brighten anyone’s day.

As a valued member of our team, Josie spends her days helping others, and now we’re asking our amazing community to help support her son by casting a vote for Enrique.
