Wadena State Bank is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time teller in our Wadena Branch. Salary range is $16-$20/hour based on experience. Position will be open until filled.

Key Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cash handling and money counting experience
- Strong math and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Previous customer service experience

-New Online Banking Security Feature-


The protection of your information is very important to us. We are pleased to announce an added login security feature that helps guard your online information by adding another layer of identity verification to online financial interactions. The new security feature will be effective June 23, 2026.

How does the new security feature work?
When logging into online banking on your computer, you will receive a message (text or voice) on your phone with a 6-digit code. You will be asked to enter this code to complete the login process on your phone or computer. This feature replaces answering security questions when logging into online banking.

What do I need to do prior to June 23rd?
Please update your phone numbers & email addresses in your online banking profile or contact us and provide your cell phone or direct phone number.

Effective May 1st, a one-time passcode (OTP) will be implemented to access your Wadena State Bank online account. You will receive a one-time passcode via email. The security challenge questions will be discontinued. Please call our bookkeeping/operations department if you have any questions.
