Most small business owners don't realize how much of the cost to start a retirement plan can be offset by federal tax credits.

Under SECURE 2.0, businesses with fewer than 100 employees may be eligible for credits covering up to $5,000 per year for three years in startup costs, plus an additional credit for employer contributions.
