AI tools are only as useful as the context you give them. A generic prompt gets you a generic answer.
That was one of the biggest takeaways from our recent webinar with Lisa Kottler. Her tip: build an identity file, a single document that tells AI who you are, who you serve, and how you work, so everything it produces actually sounds like you.
Lisa put together a short follow-up video walking through exactly how to build one.

This Wednesday, join Brian Elliott, SVP and Director of Institutional Division at Genter Capital Management, for a session on spotting qualified plan opportunities inside your existing relationships, converting participants and executives into private wealth clients, and building a practical 30-60-90 day action plan to put it all in motion.

Workers are stretched right now. Inflation, rising costs, and short-term financial pressure are showing up in retirement plan participation rates and contribution levels.

Plan design can do a lot of the heavy lifting here. Auto-enrollment, auto-escalation, and thoughtful default rates help participants stay on track even when they are not actively thinking about retirement. Advisors who bring plan design conversations to the table are providing real value beyond investment selection.

Most small business owners don't realize how much of the cost to start a retirement plan can be offset by federal tax credits.

Under SECURE 2.0, businesses with fewer than 100 employees may be eligible for credits covering up to $5,000 per year for three years in startup costs, plus an additional credit for employer contributions. For a business on the fence about offering a plan, those numbers may change the conversation.
