🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Maria Torres 🌟

If you’ve ever reached out with a question and felt truly heard, chances are Maria Torres was on the other end of the conversation.

Maria’s strength is connecting with customers and making them feel acknowledged, supported and accomplished when working through plan questions. She enjoys talking with customers, helping them troubleshoot issues, and making sure they’re connected with the right team member so nothing falls through the cracks.

Maria’s goal is simple and meaningful: to help customers feel accomplished by guiding them toward solutions—whether that means answering questions directly or making sure they get to the right place for help. She wants customers to know that when in doubt, they should always call. Maria is always ready to help.

Outside of work, Maria likes to stay active. She’s recently taken up running and enjoys challenging herself to go a little farther each time. Also, in her formative years Maria was part of the Waco Young Artists program, where her concentration was Starlight lilies—using different media to bring them to life. They’re also her favorite flower.

If Maria’s day had a theme song, it would be “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles—a perfect reflection of her positive, encouraging approach.

If you need something done quickly and done right, Suzanne Fields is your go‑to.

Suzanne’s strength is being fast, detail‑oriented and incredibly reliable. When clients need answers—or need something handled efficiently—Suzanne is the one who gets it done. Her goal is simple but impactful: to help clients have a truly stress‑free relationship with our team.

Suzanne wants clients to feel comfortable coming to her with distribution and involuntary distribution questions—but really, no question is off limits. If she doesn’t already have the answer, she’ll find it. One of her favorite parts of the job is helping clients quickly and efficiently while learning something new along the way.

Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her grandbaby and playing golf with her husband. She’ll be the first to admit she’s not the best golfer—but she always looks cute on the course, which definitely counts.

When retirement plan decisions feel complex or overwhelming, Teresa Taylor has a gift for turning uncertainty into clear, manageable next steps.

Teresa’s strength is simplifying complex retirement plan decisions so clients can move forward with confidence. Her goal is to help employers make well‑informed choices that support their business today while building long‑term financial security for both the employer and their employees.

Teresa loves working with clients from the very beginning—helping them explore whether a retirement plan makes sense, designing solutions aligned with their goals, and being the trusted resource they can always turn to for guidance. What she enjoys most is seeing clients go from feeling unsure to feeling confident by breaking things down and focusing on what truly matters to them.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys traveling and spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren. Creating meaningful family traditions is something she treasures and prioritizes.

Lisa’s strength is teaching. She has a gift for breaking down complex retirement plan provisions and helping clients truly understand how their plan works. Her goal is not just clarity, but confidence—so clients see how their plan benefits both their business and their employees, and view RBA as a trusted partner every step of the way.

Lisa wants clients to feel comfortable reaching out with any question—big or small. From plan design to payroll contributions, she’s always happy to help clients grow in their knowledge and make informed decisions about their plan.

What Lisa enjoys most about her work is the problem‑solving aspect. She describes retirement plans as puzzles—each piece matters, and when everything comes together just right, the result is incredibly rewarding.

Outside of work, Lisa is a devoted Baylor fan. You’ll often find her cheering on Baylor football or women’s basketball, proudly dressed in green and gold.
