What percentage did your company change?

Most homeowners insurance companies that filed rate changes with the Texas Department of Insurance since July 1 proposed decreases, affecting about 700,000 Texas policyholders. Over the past 90 days, filed homeowners rate changes averaged a 4.3% decrease.

I was in high school 🐾; the day is still so surreal. The events of the day kept compounding each other with the Pentagon and Flight 93 following. We tried to do our school work, but a few teachers had the TVs in their rooms and we watched the events. That Friday night, instead of marching our half-time shows, both bands played Patriotic tunes to commemorate. We all wore white bands around our arms (our uniforms were black). 🗽

There was also a song that resonated with us; POD released their album and "Youth of the Nation" became our anthem. The lyrics resonated deeply with the previous tragedies that jarred our childhoods, and now this.... 😭

In a way, despite being older, we are still the "Youth of the Nation" as beginning of national tragedies began when we were kids and we carry those memories and emotions to this day. The younger generations have their own emotional times and tragedies, so I'm not discrediting them at all. They do have someone....us... to help them through those tough times. Our parents and elders were at a loss for words as the last blatant attack on our country was Pearl Harbor. They helped us as best as they could at the time; I'm not downing them either.

Remembering the 2977 and their families, loved ones (human and pets) and the waves from that impact that a lot of us still feel to this day.....

Lest we forget.... We will NEVER forget.... ❤️🤍💙
