We’ve had some severe storms in Central Texas over the past few weeks, with more predicted. Beware of door-to-door roofers and repair companies that may knock on your door. They swarm damaged neighborhoods after a storm and can potentially leave you with even bigger problems.

To check to see if you have damage, protect your home from future damage, or start the claims process, be sure to use reputable local companies. Check their reviews and confirm they are properly insured. Ask to see their insurance documents. Call your insurance agent and/or insurance company if you have questions or need assistance.

It was a beautiful day out today, and a great day for a car show. Drove the Mustang over to Gatesville to support Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.). A great cause, a great time, and a great opportunity to promote one of the companies we work with. Hagerty is a great insurer of classic and collector cars. Here are a few scenes from the day.

We’re still a little bit too early in the winter weather forecasting process to accurately determine both if wintry precipitation will occur and what type of wintry weather we could see.
