As year-end approaches, it is a good time to review Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) and confirm your distribution plan, withholding preferences, and liquidity needs. Missing the year-end RMD deadline can result in a penalty, and delaying a first RMD may mean taking two distributions in one year.

If you do not need your RMD for living expenses, we can also discuss ways to put those dollars to work, such as setting up Auto RMDs, reinvesting into a non-retirement account, or contributing toward education savings.
