The first step in time management is creating a plan for your day. This helps you organize your tasks and prioritize them so that you can feel like you are getting all the things done. Make sure that all distractions are put away and you can utilize your time correctly. Break down each task into smaller parts so that they do not seem overwhelming and incorporate self care in your routine before you get to work. Be sure to reward yourself for completing each part of a large task by taking a break or enjoying something fun! (I like to take a 5 minute walk with my frenchies 😆)

Have you ever wondered if their is another way?

Sure, owning rental properties is still work.

Meaning, there are some weeks (even months) where the most interaction you may have with a property or tenant is when you get a “rent deposited” email, but then there are also weeks that do require things like:

✔️Fixing leaking ceilings🌧
✔️Frozen Pipes 🥶
✔️Flying squirrel infestation🐿
✔️Date nights at Home Depot ❤️🔨
✔️Trying to mow lawns without needing hospital

All that being said, when you buy a rental property you can expect that at times there we will be work, BUT each month you will also have:

⭐️Someone else paying off the mortgage
⭐️Ever year (usually) your properties will be worth more
⭐️Every month, you will have cash flow to pay your bills
⭐️Your tax bill goes down despite rental income going up

How every buyer feels the moment they announce they are starting to look at homes... meanwhile all who refinanced or bought last year... brag about their 2% - 3% interest rate!!

When I meet my clients who are self-employed or independent contractors, I quickly learn that they are some of the most hard-working people out there.

Many are running all aspects of a business while ensuring their day-to-day operations go flawlessly.

I make a point to do all that I can to make the home loan process for them as smooth as possible.

With non-traditional loan options, it makes it possible for them to qualify using bank statements or 1099 income.

If you fall into this category, I'd love to chat with you to understand your needs and see how we can find a loan solution that works for you to get into your dream home.

Let me do all the work on this, while you spend time running your business!

Shoot me an email or quick message and we’ll be sure to chat!

Are you (or your clients) feeling as if you may have missed the boat when it comes to buying a home?

Well, believe it or not, it might be better for you to buy now than it would have been to buy earlier in 2022 when rates were lower!

Watch this quick client story where I break down one example of a client who was feeling like they had "missed the boat"... when in actuality, once we dove deeper into the numbers, it turns out that buying today will significant save more money over the life of the loan than buying at a time that no longer exists.

This is the power of perspective and the art of a great mortgage strategist!

Let me know what questions this brings up!!

With the recent GDP news and based on the traditional recession definition, we have officially entered into another recession.

This has brought up several questions and even concerns about what could happen to the housing market.

Now, no one knows what the future holds for sure as we have never had a pandemic, war, and inflation extremes like today... yet what we can do is look at historical data to try and make our most informed and educated opinion of what we can expect.

If you look at this graphic, you will see over the past five recessions, mortgage rates have fallen an average of 1.8 percentage points from the peak seen during the recession to the trough.

And in many cases, they continued to fall after the fact as it takes some time to turn things around even when the recession is technically over.

This leaves me to feel very hopeful and hopefully allows you to have some peace, as well in regards to housing.

I'm curious, what concerns you most with entering a new recession?
