Simmons Insurance Agency ~ Exceed Expectations Everyday for Every Customer ~ At the time, they were both working full time jobs and insured by another company.

In 1986, Carol's husband, Danny, heard an ad for Rockingham Group on the radio, and asked her to call to have an agent come visit them. Danny and the Rockingham Agent immediately hit it off and Carol and Danny came on board as part time agents for the Rockingham Group. In 1988, Carol changed to a full time Exclusive Agent for Rockingham. In 1996 Carol opened the office on Hardy Road in Vinton, where they currently operate from today. Members of her family have worked with her, truly making this a family run agency. In 2008 her daughter-in-law, Debbie, joined as an agent, and then in 2011 her son, Stacy, joined as an agent. Debbie opened a second office location in Moneta to better serve the community. They understand your needs from renters insurance to a farmowners policy, as they are farmers themselves. If you are looking for insurance, call the Simmons Insurance Agency, Inc. Our office hours are: 9am - 5 pm.

We are proud to support our local youth in Agriculture Central Virginia Livestock Show. The show starts today with hogs and Saturday will be goats, sheep and cattle.
Go out and support the kids and their hard work raising their projects. The auction will be Saturday evening. There is nothing better than home grown meat. 🐑 🐖 🐐 🐄

👏 A big thank you to our Silver Sponsors for supporting the 46th Annual Central Virginia Livestock Show. Your generosity helps make this event possible for youth exhibitors across our region. We’re grateful for your support.
