If you haven’t met me yet, or if we’ve just recently met, I wanted to take a moment to share a little about who I am and how I serve the Vine Grove community.
My name is Selena Hudson, and I am proud to call Vine Grove home. I currently serve as a member of the Vine Grove City Council, where I work every day to advocate for our residents, strengthen our city, and help build a future that we can all be proud of.
Professionally, I have spent my career in banking, helping families and businesses make important financial decisions, from buying homes to building wealth. Financial literacy and economic opportunity have always been passions of mine because strong families build strong communities.
Beyond my professional work, I believe deeply in service. I founded Get Your Money Right, Inc., a nonprofit focused on financial literacy, scholarships, and empowering the next generation. Through this work, we’ve helped students access scholarships, learn about money management, and believe in their ability to create generational wealth.
You’ll also often find me supporting local events, mentoring young people, collaborating with community organizations, and working alongside leaders across Hardin County to move our region forward.
Service has always been at the center of my life. Whether it’s through public service, nonprofit work, or simply showing up for our neighbors, I believe that when we invest in people, we strengthen the entire community.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve Vine Grove and excited about what we can accomplish together.
