James dedicated his first 21 years in the mortgage industry to Gateway Funding DMS, LP, which in 2015 became a part of the Finance of America Companies! In late 2022 he made the bold decision to join the Preferred Rate Team powered by American Pacific Mortgage to elevate the resources and tools for his client’s best interests & needs! James attended Penn State where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, & Institutional Management, which allows him to bring his extensive background of hospitality and customer service to the lending world. You will quickly discover his previous career with Marriott International is the key to the “Financial Concierge” model his clients have the opportunity to take advantage! The Financial Concierge model allows each client to have access to a full complement of financial professionals or better known as a “Family Office” for their financial success well outside of just the mortgage and homebuying process. The Hope Mortgage Team is an active supporter of all things “Community” and holds high regard for not only giving back but seeing the world in which we live is better than we found it. Social responsibility starts at the grassroots of helping one homebuyer become a homeowner, and from there to build out their financial portfolio in support of their success long term. Specialties & Mortgage Programs include: Piggyback Financing (80/15/5 – 80/10/10, etc.), Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, VA, and USDA. Programs vary with Fixed Rate options and Adjustable Mortgages that vary in terms, while some programs may be eligible for Interest Only payment options.
