Your mother’s death will change you. That change is likely the only predictable part of the entire process – a process that will break, overwhelm, and rebuild you.

It has been 597 days since I lost my Momma, my anchor and the only constant in my life until I met my Love, James Grason.

At this very moment I am sitting in her recliner, something that just the very thought of a few months ago brought me to my knees.

But right now, at this very moment, with my body fitting so perfectly and lying my head back into the indention still present from her, it feels like the hug I have longed for the last 597 days.

I will never be who I was before that phone call, I will never again take for granted one more phone call, text or “annoying message on FB messenger.

But I WILL forever remember, love and hold dear the absolute unconditional, all consuming and occasionally irrational LOVE my Momma blessed me with ❤️❤️
