This past weekend, Amanda Phelan and Kelsey Gerken laced up their shoes and joined the BAPS Charities Walk | Run 2026.

The BAPS Charities Walk | Run has been uniting communities for over 20 years, raising vital funds for health awareness, education, humanitarian relief, environmental protection, and community empowerment, including support for local first responders, food banks, and healthcare institutions.

It's a reminder that showing up for your community makes a real difference. We're grateful to be part of a region where people come together to serve something bigger than themselves.

Kelsey Gerken recently had the opportunity to serve on the Versailles Community Scholarship Committee alongside five other community members. Together, they interviewed students and reviewed applications for more than 25 graduating seniors.

The mission of the committee is to provide scholarships to graduates of Versailles High School as they continue their education and pursue their future goals.

Kelsey shared that one of the reasons she wanted to be involved was because she grew up watching her mom, Kim Custenborder, dedicate so much time and energy to the community. She learned early on that what makes Versailles special is the people who are willing to step up, get involved, and make things happen.

“It’s rewarding to hear from these students and see all they’ve accomplished. Experiences like this are a great reminder that the future of our community is bright.”

🇺🇸 🎖️ 🤍 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲, 𝐰𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞.

Not just for the cookouts or the start of summer, but for the reason this day exists.

Memorial Day is about the men and women who never made it home. Soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines who gave everything so that we could live freely. Who left behind mothers, fathers, spouses, children, and friends who carry that loss every single day.

Their names are carved into walls, printed on headstones, and etched into the hearts of Gold Star families across this country. They deserve more than a moment of silence. They deserve to be remembered.

Today, take a second to think of someone who gave their life in service to this nation. Say their name if you know it. Honor their story. Freedom has never been free.

To all who served and made the ultimate sacrifice: Thank you. We will never forget.

It's officially grilling season, and we're here for it! 🍔🔥

The Phelan Insurance Agency team is heading into Memorial Day weekend in style. We hooked our associates up with gift boxes from Winner's Meats , loaded with hamburgers, marinated pork chops, chicken breasts, brats, and more.

Because our people deserve ALL the good things. Enjoy the weekend, team. You've earned it!

⛳ What a day at Stillwater Valley Golf Club!

We had an absolute blast hosting the inaugural Hacker Classic in Bradford, OH...and yes, the name says it all. No course records were broken today, and that was perfectly fine by us. 😄

Today was all about getting out from behind the desk, enjoying a beautiful day on the course, and connecting with some incredible local business leaders. The conversations, laughs, and questionable shots made it one for the books!

Grateful for everyone who came out and made this such a great afternoon. This community is something special.

Here's to more events, more connections, and hopefully slightly better golf. 🏌️‍♂️
