The Staunton Police Department will be participating in National Drug Take Back Day tomorrow, April 27, from 10am-2pm (or until capacity reached). We will be collecting expired or unused medications in the Fisher Auto Parts parking lot on Statler Blvd.

Please note that we will be unable to accept needles or sharps at this event.

Found in Harrisonburg 06/09/19!!!

Investigators believe Anibal may have taken a limited supply of medications with him when he left his Staunton home. They also believe he is in the Harrisonburg, VA area. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is encouraged to call.

Runaway Juvenile

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a runaway juvenile who was last seen at his Staunton home on April 19, 2019 at approximately 1315 HRS. The juvenile has a medical condition that can be life threatening if his prescribed medications are not administered regularly.

He left home on foot. The juvenile does have ties to Harrisonburg, VA.
