We hope you never experience property damage, but if you do, our mission is to help you get a fair settlement from your insurance company. We don't get paid unless our work results in a higher, fairer settlement than your insurance company's original offer, and our fee is a fraction of those additional funds.
As a Vero resident and experienced public insurance adjuster specializing in Indian River County, I understand the emotional toll and frustration felt when dealing with insurance companies after natural or other disasters, and the need to be fully and accurately reimbursed.
Insurers, and the adjusters employed by them, rely on pricing databases to determine the value of your losses. These databases don’t always reflect actual market price for repairs, and evaluations indicate a pattern of frequent and significant underpayment on damage claims.
To ensure that your insurance company handles your claim appropriately, we can assist you, starting with a free consultation. I have been in the insurance and construction industries for more than thirty years and am dedicated to helping people in difficult situations get fair treatment.
After you receive the initial settlement offer from your insurer, we can help you navigate this stressful time and the recovery process. I will inventory your loss, submit your claim to the insurance company, and work with them to achieve the most equitable settlement. I receive no fee until your insurance company reimburses you additional money—and my work is free if you don't receive more as a result of my intervention than your insurer's original settlement offer. My fee is covered by a portion of those additional funds, which often double the original offer.
It is our privilege to assist property owners—not insurance companies—covering:
Hurricanes Tornadoes Fires Wind & Water Mold Hail Roofing Issues Broken Pipes Flooding Loss of Income Low Estimates
Insurance companies employ adjusters and will assign one to your claim, but their adjuster represents the insurance company's interests, not yours. Attorneys and public insurance adjusters are the only parties allowed by law to represent and pursue another party's interests in an insurance claim. As a licensed, bonded, public insurance adjuster, I have a fiduciary responsibility to you, the policyholder.
If you could use some assistance, I can be reached at 772-696-5585 for the free consultation.
With best wishes for full recovery,
Steven L. Philipson, P.A.
