One of the greatest privileges of my life is serving as the Outreach Director for our church. This past Saturday we held our 6th Annual Sneaker event and it was a sight to see! We served over 400 families and roughly 1,000 students. Families received sneakers, backpacks, and grocery bags. We also had popcorn, cotton candy, and of course, a couple of bounce houses!

I won’t name them all in efforts to not miss anyone, but I sincerely want to thank every organization and business that partnered with us and made the day happen. We had over 100 volunteers who showed up to be the hands and feet of Jesus for our community.

It was an amazing day of spreading love, spreading the Gospel, and trying to ensure that in the words of my grandparents, “leave people, places, and things better than you found them.”

Praying all of our students have a safe, productive, and joyful school year!
