The second building was owned by Harold "Doc" Ames, providing jewelry and a hair cut. Morrice Insurance Agency is the present owner, adding on to the building a few years ago. Kris Smith is the present owner taking over from his mother Lynn Briggs Smith. Lynn's father Neil Briggs also owned a local insurance company, making it three generations of local business owners.

Emily and I are super proud to be third generation owners of the Morrice Insurance Agency. We pride ourselves on our motto of service being first and first names being known! We thank all the local community members for your support over the years and value the relationships we have built and maintained during that time!
