Kiwanis Club of Ventura A service club dedicated to the children of our community, the Kiwanis Club of Ventura connects professionals, retirees, and valued community contributors.

Founded October 22, 1925, our club began with about 25 members and has grown to its current membership of 37. Over the years, Ventura Kiwanis has held many fundraisers, including pancake breakfasts, basketball tournaments, yard sales and the Cool Breeze Bike Ride. We help out in the community in a variety of ways, including sponsoring youth groups at local elementary, middle and high schools, rais

ing money to benefit children and children’s support groups, and providing scholarships for high school students. The club sponsors Law Day and Firefighter Services & Heroes Day. The club also provides volunteers for the Pier Under the Stars events. Ventura Kiwanis has enjoyed a rich history over the years, with its members coming from fields like accounting, banking, education, human resources, insurance, law, management, real estate and many more. While our primary focus is to serve the children of our community, the club also serves as a forum for the productive exchange of professional relationships. We have developed a partnership with the Ventura Unified School District through the VEP (Ventura Educational Partnership) and provide volunteers for many of their events including Summerfest and Bravo as well as being the title sponsor of the Ventura Talent Festival each year. Trick-or-Treat For UNICEF Won't Stop
It’s finally here! The countdown to Halloween and launch of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 2020! Now, we know that the coronavirus pandemic means many trick-or-treaters won’t be going door to door this year. But we’ve got some good news: This October, you can join the 70th year of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF as it goes virtual for the very first time.
We’ve come up with a new spooktacular way for kids to stay safe, have fun and help children around the world. Here’s what you need to know:
You can register your child, yourself, or your school TODAY to take part and get your unique Virtual Collection Box that comes with a custom link and QR code that friends, neighbors and family can use to donate - all at Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Central.
Kids can unlock donations through fun and empowering activities all October long.
You can share the campaign and encourage others to join with Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF social shareables. Don’t forget to tag us using the hashtag .
