Giving back to the communities we serve is part of who we are at Caldwell Trust Company. Our team believes that making a difference doesn’t always require a grand gesture—it can be as simple as showing up, lending a hand, and helping create meaningful experiences for others.

Recently, one of our team members, volunteered with Holiday House SRQ at Gocio Elementary School, helping distribute more than 600 pairs of brand-new sneakers to students.

We’re proud of our staff for continuing to put Caldwell Cares into action and grateful for the opportunity to support an organization working to remove barriers and provide resources to local children.

Caldwell Trust Company’s Molly Setsma Earns CFP® Certification

She successfully completed the CFP® examination in July 2026 and met CFP Board’s education, experience, examination, and ethics requirements.

This means as a CFP® professional, Molly provides financial planning services in accordance with CFP Board’s Standards of Excellence.

Molly joined Caldwell Trust Company in August 2024 following an internship with the firm in May 2024. Since joining the company, she has continued to develop her expertise in trust administration and wealth management while supporting clients and the firm’s financial planning team.

Molly earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University in 2023, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from FAU in 2024, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

We’re proud to share that Legacy Has A New Address received two Golden Image Awards for the campaign supporting Caldwell Trust Company’s first expansion to Florida’s East Coast in Vero Beach.

The campaign was conceived, developed and executed by Sher Vieira, VP Communications & Marketing, from the initial concept through launch.

Legacy Has A New Address was a natural extension of the Caldwell Trust Company brand: Building Wealth | Preserving Legacy. The Way It’s Meant to Be. As Caldwell expanded into a new community, the campaign introduced the company, its values and its vision for the future to Vero Beach.

The work was recognized twice in a highly competitive Florida Public Relations Association Golden Image Awards category, alongside some of Florida’s most prominent organizations.

Since we opened our doors in 1993, Bill and Norma have been taking wonderful care of Caldwell Trust Company. For more than 30 years, they have helped keep our office looking its best, and we are truly grateful for their dedication and friendship.

What means the most to us is the kindness and joy they bring with them. They are our biggest supporters on Facebook, they brighten our days with homemade cookies, warm smiles, and thoughtful gestures, and they always make us feel appreciated.

Dementia education may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about a trust company. But for our team, it is one of the most important investments we can make.

At Caldwell Trust Company, we have the privilege of building long-term relationships with many aging clients. Because of those close relationships, our trust officers are often among the first to notice changes in a client's physical or cognitive health. Sometimes we are the ones who encourage families to take a closer look at a loved one's needs. Other times, we are faced with difficult decisions about a client's capacity and how best to protect their interests.

That is why this Dementia Education program was so meaningful. It gave us practical tools to better recognize the signs of dementia and, just as importantly, taught us how to communicate with greater patience, empathy, and understanding. It also introduced us to resources that we can share with families who may be facing these challenges for the first time.

We are grateful to Empath Health, Empath Suncoast Hospice and the Empath Tidewell Hospice teams for providing this outstanding program to our Caldwell Trust Company team. The knowledge and perspective they shared will help us serve our clients and their families with even greater compassion and care.

Thank you for helping us become better stewards of the trust our clients place in us every day.

This Independence Day holds special significance as our nation commemorates 250 years since adopting the Declaration of Independence.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we reflect on the enduring principles of liberty, opportunity, and self-governance that have guided our country for generations. We are thankful for the privilege of serving our clients, friends, and communities and for the trust you place in us.

In observance of Independence Day, our offices will be closed Friday, July 3, 2026. We will resume regular business hours on Monday, July 6.
