🚨 Washington Is Already Dead Last — And CrR 3.2 Would Make It Even Worse 🚨

Washington State already holds the dubious distinction of having the fewest police officers per capita in the entire country.
Departments are stretched thin, response times are up, and workloads are at a breaking point.
Now the proposed CrR 3.2 changes would dump every new Failure‑to‑Appear warrant onto an already overwhelmed system — guaranteeing even more strain on the officers we barely have.
And here’s the part they really don’t want taxpayers to notice:
💸 Right now, bail bond agencies handle the warrants of those on bail at zero cost to taxpayers.
If CrR 3.2 passes, that responsibility shifts directly onto police departments and the public.
So instead of:
Officers focusing on violent crime
Taxpayers saving money
Courts maintaining accountability
…we get more warrants, fewer officers, higher costs, and zero accountability.
Washington can’t afford to be last in staffing AND first in bad policy.
Protect public safety. Protect taxpayers.
