🌧️ FIRST RAIN REMINDER

🚗 That first rain after a dry stretch can make the roads surprisingly slippery!

When rain first hits the road, it can mix with oil, dirt, and other buildup that has accumulated during the dry weather. That can make stopping and turning more difficult than you might expect.

A few reminders for that first rainy drive:

☔ Slow down and give yourself extra stopping distance.
🚗 Leave more space between you and the car ahead.
💡 Turn your headlights on so you're easier to see.
🛞 Check your tires and make sure they have good tread and proper air pressure.
🛑 Avoid sudden braking, acceleration, or sharp turns.
🌧️ Be especially careful during the first part of the rainfall, when roads can be at their slickest.

A few extra minutes of caution can make a big difference.

That means more kids on the road — walking, biking, and riding the bus.

As you head out this week, slow down in school zones, stay alert, and keep an extra eye out for the little ones. A few extra seconds of caution can make a big difference.

And remember, safe drivers also tend to be well-covered drivers. 😉

☀️ MONDAY WEEKEND RECAP

Monday already?! 😳 Here's a quick look at a pretty awesome weekend.

😂 Friday night: Jeremy and I headed out to a comedy show. Nothing like starting the weekend with some good laughs and good company!

🥫 Saturday morning: Cinto and I spent some time helping out at a local food pantry. It's always a good feeling to give back and help where we can. ❤️

🥋 Then I headed over to support a friend at his jiu-jitsu tournament. It's always fun watching someone put their hard work and training to the test!

👶 Sunday was family time, including some much-needed grandbaby time! ❤️ That's always one of my favorite parts of the weekend.

🏍️ And to finish things off, Jason joined my son and me for a ride. Good friends, family, and some time on two wheels, not a bad way to wrap up the weekend!

Looking back, it was one of those weekends that had a little bit of everything: laughs, giving back, friends, family, grandbabies, and adventure.

Honestly, those are the weekends I appreciate the most. ❤️

And spoiler alert… those babies are Steph and I. 😂

Back then, our insurance looked different. Now we're in completely different stages of life, with different responsibilities, different goals, and different people depending on us.

Behind the scenes of what local service really looks like. 🤝
