The Joint Lobby continues to take shape! Recent progress includes new customer service counters, updated workstations, modern wood accent features, improved lighting, and nearly completed staff work areas. With many of the major elements now in place, we're one step closer to reopening a more secure, accessible, and welcoming space for our community. Last week, Treasurer Topper attended the annual Washington State Association of County Treasurers (WSACT) Conference in Ellensburg. The conference provided valuable opportunities to learn about economic trends, fraud prevention, financing, investment strategies, and Washington homeownership resources. It was also a great chance to collaborate and share ideas with fellow county treasurers from across the state. After a full day of learning, attendees even found time for a friendly game or two of co****le!

The Joint Lobby Remodel is making great progress! Customer service workstations have been installed, feature wood slat walls are taking shape, lighting has gone in, and technology infrastructure work continues throughout the space. The lobby is beginning to transform into a modern, welcoming environment designed to improve the customer experience. Thank you for your patience during construction. We look forward to sharing more updates as we move closer to completion!

In observance of Memorial Day, the Clark County Treasurer’s Office is closed today, Monday, May 25. On this Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful holiday weekend.

At this morning’s All Staff Meeting, Treasurer Alishia Topper recognized the 2026 Step Challenge winners after the office walked a combined 9,055,321 steps over six weeks. We also celebrated our first Employee of the Quarter, Sam Steffensen, for her positive attitude and excellent customer service as our new employee-led recognition program continues to grow successfully.
