I have been working in the mortgage industry since 1992.

Needless to say, I have seen and survived a lot of ups and downs in the economy and the mortgage industry. I remember purchasing my first home. I felt like the proverbial deer in the headlights. My realtor and mortgage broker just kept saying “trust me” and fortunately I did. That memory has helped me throughout my career. I want to make sure my clients understand the process as well as the commit

ment they are choosing to make when buying a home. I believe that I achieve this goal. My clients trust me enough to come back with their future home purchases and to refer me to their friends and families. Denise, my wife of 25 years, and I are empty nesters. We are fortunate that both our children are out in the world avidly pursuing their dreams. I’m an outdoor person, avid skier and enjoy cycling when the weather permits. Denise and I really enjoy exploring the local culinary scene, whether it is a new restaurant, food cart, brew pub beer or wine bar. In Portland there is always something new to discover. I work in all facets of the mortgage process. Whether it is a purchase, a new construction loan, a refinance, debt restructuring or rebuilding your credit, I look forward to the opportunity to help you.

While a lower interest rate can create meaningful savings, those benefits build gradually. Someone planning to move in a couple of years may see very different results than someone staying for 10, 15, or 20 years.
