I'm not sure if a movie could be scripted better than what actually happened this past Friday:

* Jake and his team played 6 innings against two different teams back to back
* He got up to the plate 5 times and each time he hit and got on base (singles and doubles)

* On his VERY LAST AT BAT of his entire little league majors career he got up to the plate in the 6th inning and hit his first home run over center field!!!!!!! 😮😮

Naturally he was incredibly excited especially when some of the spectators went behind the center field fence and retrieved the ball for him to take home.

After the game one of the first things he told me, after the excitement calmed down, was "we need to make sure we keep practicing each day, playing catch and hitting in the backyard so next season I'll be even better." Rockstar!
