I go to bed tired
I wake up the same
There's no rest for the weary
And that's all I became
After life tried to drown me
In loss and despair
And all that I loved
Went *P**F* in thin air
So when death came a'calling
For the few that loved me
There was no one to catch me
When I fell to my knees
There was no one to notice
I was lost to despair
And my hope was just gone
Because nobody cared
I'm thisclose to quitting
I've no strength left to fight
There's no rest for the weary
And I can't find the light
That says there's a way out
For one such as me
It all seems so pointless
I'll never break free
Because it takes a whole village
And I'm all alone
Fighting this current
While I sink like a stone
So if you come looking
Know I fought till the last
I just couldn't sustain it
I was drowning too fast.
