Ben called me less than ten minutes after we said we wanted to put an offer on the house. His friendly demeanor and clear list of what we needed to do made everything very easy. He went over different mortgage options with us and assured us he would find the best program to fit our situation. His knowledge of the programs available and the ability to clearly explain them to us was priceless. Everyone knows a mortgage will entail numerous documents, and it can be scary, but we were assured everything was happening exactly as expected every step of the way. We agreed to closing sooner than originally expected and I started to worry about not getting something to the underwriters on time. After texting Ben with all of my "what if?" questions, he called and said, "Hey, no bad thoughts." I could hear his smile in his voice and it put me at ease completely. When additional documents were needed, Yvette Schmiedl, the Assistant communicated with me daily. She is excellent in her ability to track all of the paperwork while keeping up with the client with the prefect amount of pressure to show urgency. Her clear email messages gave us a kind of checklist to work from which was perfect. While all of our interaction took place via the phone and internet - it is reassuring to know our lender is local and not just a cloud based entity. The relationship Ben and Yvette established with us made this process easy and exciting. Their care for us and our new home is why I recommend Ben Krejci and first Centennial Mortgage to anyone buying a home in this area. Thank you to everyone who taught us so much!
