Starting January 1, 2026, Indiana residents with a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy can use a "[Birthday Rule]" to switch plans without medical underwriting. This allows switching to a new plan with equal or lesser benefits within 60 days of your birthday—30 days before and 30 days after—without health questions, denial, or higher premiums.
