If you are NOT currently receiving a Social Security Check?
You (as the enrollee) will NOT be automatically enrolled in Medicare Part A & B.
It is your responsibility to enroll in Part A & B (that will become effective on the 1st day of your Birth Month)

If you currently receive Social Security that is automatically deposited?
Your check will be automatically deposited in your account as early as April 17th and no later than early May.
Remember... do not give your personal/banking info to anyone who calls you on the phone.
Social Security does not! Call you and Ask you for information over the phone.
