We attended the Festival of Trees Gala last night in support of The Opportunity House. If you don’t know what this organization is I really recommend doing some research. They need our support. I wish I had taken more photos but that’s the hazard of being in the moment. It was a beautiful night and so nice to see so many people!

Every escrow is a special experience. You’re helping a family buy their first home. You’re adding to an investment portfolio to increase a family’s wealth. You’re helping two generations come together into one place. Each instance is unique and comes with its own story.

This one though was a very special opportunity and one that doesn’t happen a lot. I had a client come to me with a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Their financial situation had improved significantly since they had to file. I was able to get them refinanced out of a mortgage that was almost $6000 into one at $4500.

The best part? This bankruptcy will now be discharged and they can work on continuing to better their credit without the weight of this bankruptcy hanging over their heads.

Financial situations may seem overwhelming sometimes and you may feel like you have no where to go. Make sure you find someone that is willing to look at every scenario to see what your options are.
