Nick has over twenty years of experience in the banking, financial services, and insurance sector, augmented by an educational background from Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance and Economics. He embarked on his investment career at American Express Financial Advisors in Franklin, TN, where he acquired licenses, including Series 7 & 66, as well as the Tennessee life & health insurance license.
Transitioning to an independent firm, Luken Investment Group in Brentwood, TN, Nick further honed his skills before relocating to California to work for Union Bank of California and was recognized with the Newcomer of the Year Award in 2006.
Returning to his roots in Tennessee, Nick joined Portus Capital Management, LLC in 2010, where he has since dedicated his expertise. Notably, he expanded his licensure to encompass both Maryland and Tennessee because he is committed to serving clients across different regions.
