Palomares Escrow is seeking employment for a full time highly experienced Escrow Assistant. This job position is for immediate hire. Palomares Escrow has been in business since 1988 and is a well established busy escrow office in Upland, CA.

As an Escrow assistant you will be responsible for all administrative and clerical duties involved in the opening, closing, and processing of active escrows.

You will deal with customers on a daily basis through telephone, email, and day to day in office appointments. As an Escrow Assistant your day-to-day responsibilities include opening escrow orders, ordering payoff demands, ordering liens, HOA's, packaging loan documents, working funding conditions and with preparing final and closing documents.

You will work in an office setting during regular business hours (8:30am-5:00pm). This a full-time position, although overtime may be required to meet deadlines. An escrow assistant you will interact with various employees and reports to an escrow manager and/or escrow officer.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
•Preferably experience working in the title or escrow business

•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Programs
•Ability to Multi-task
•Customer Service Oriented
•Excellent Organization
•Team Oriented

Daily Tasks

•Greeting Customers

•Answering Incoming Calls

•Daily Banking

•Daily Trust Accounting

•Receipting in incoming wires to Escrow Files

•Creating Overnight Labels

•Sorting incoming mail, Sending outgoing mail

•Ordering Office Supplies

•Maintaining a Tidy workplace

•Data entry on new escrow files

•Ordering Payoff Demands

•Opening Title Orders

THANK YOU DOUG! ✨Douglas Price is an amazing escrow officer. He received loan documents yesterday around 4 PM for a property in La Verne California, Los Angeles county. The file had to close today because it had a contingency right behind it that I has to close by Friday.

Doug made some phone calls and decided that he is going to pull it off.  Docs were signed early this morning, then packaged and he hand delivered to title around 8 am.  The file funded and is set to record same day LA county where specials were obsolete.
