Today, I celebrate 10 years in the mortgage industry! 🎉

From humble beginnings of learning closing disclosures to working my way up to being a Loan Officer, I've learned so much over the last decade and am so grateful to have been able to work with some of the greatest humans in this industry.

In mortgage, it can seem like the only certain thing you can depend on is that things will certainly change. It can be uncomfortable and even scary at times, but what makes it all worth it is the WHY behind the job. I've come to love what I do - I love meeting families, hearing their stories, learning about their goals and dreams; I love helping people reach those goals and celebrate with them when they succeed; I love problem solving and finding solutions that make it possible for those dreams to come true. Even through the hard seasons and the highs and lows of the market, the fact that I get to serve families makes my job so fulfilling.

Cheers to the next 10 years!

James 1:2-8,12,21-25 - Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror
and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

School just started! That means new germ exposure and viruses. We always get hit the 2nd week with a cold that has symptoms that seem to linger for months, so I thought I'd re-up my honey fermented garlic stash. So far, so good! 🤞🏻

Do you have any go-to remedies for cold/flu bugs? Comment below! I'd love to hear them!

Garlic has amazing superpowers, plus it keeps the vampires away. 🧛‍♂️ 🦇
