🎨🖌️ WORK HARD, PLAY HARD! TEAM BUILDING DAY! ❤️

Today, we took a little break from numbers, tax returns, and deadlines to spend some much-needed time together as a TEAM! 🙌

As we wrapped up our third quarter, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the amazing people who make Gundersons CFO & Bookkeeping what it is!

We had 10 of our 15 team members able to join us for a fun-filled day of painting at Kay Ray Smith and Brad Smith with Tilt Vision Studios.! 🎨

There were lots of laughs, creativity, great conversations, and maybe even a few hidden artistic talents discovered! 😂🖌️

One thing I truly believe is that building a great business starts with building a great TEAM. ❤️

I'm incredibly thankful for each of these individuals, the hard work they put in, the dedication they show our clients, and the heart they bring to our company every single day.

Days like today remind us that while we spend our days helping small businesses thrive, it's the people behind the scenes who make it all possible!

Here's to a strong finish to 2026 and continuing to grow together! 🚀

🎉 BIG NEWS!!! GUNDERSONS IS OFFICIALLY IN ALASKA! 🎉

Today, October 15, 2026, we officially acquired Noble Tax & Accounting in Wasilla, Alaska! 🏔️🎉

And y'all… I have to tell you the story behind this one, because this was 100% a GOD thing! 🙌❤️

If you had told me a year ago that we would be expanding Gundersons CFO & Bookkeeping all the way to ALASKA, I probably would have laughed! 😂 Never in a million years would I have thought to look for an accounting firm in Alaska. It wasn't on my radar, wasn't part of my plan, and certainly wasn't something I was out searching for.

But God had other plans. ❤️

Through relationships I've built over the years, an opportunity came my way that I never could have imagined.

The owner of Noble Tax & Accounting, Haylee, was ready for a new chapter in her life. After years of pouring her heart into her business, her employees, and her clients, she felt called to make a change, pursue new opportunities, and spend more time with her five boys. ❤️

But there was one big question weighing on her heart…

Who could she trust to take care of the business she had built, the employees who depended on her, and the clients who had trusted her for so many years?

She prayed about it. And prayed some more.

And somehow, through conversations and connections, my name kept coming up.

When the opportunity finally reached me, my first thought was something along the lines of, "Alaska?! Really, Lord?!" 😂

But I told her I'd explore it and see if we could make it happen.

And y'all… the doors just kept opening.

The conversations, the relationships, the financing, the timing… everything seemed to fall into place. Things that could have been complicated came together in ways I couldn't have orchestrated myself.

There are moments in life when you make a plan and ask God to bless it.

And then there are moments when God has a plan, and you just have to be willing to follow.

This was definitely the second one. 🙏

Today, I'm incredibly humbled, grateful, and excited to officially welcome the Noble Tax & Accounting team and their wonderful clients into the Gundersons family!

To Haylee, thank you for trusting us with something you've worked so hard to build. I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'm praying that this next chapter brings you and your family incredible blessings!

To our new Alaska employees and clients, WELCOME! ❤️ We are so excited to get to know you, serve you, and continue building on the foundation Haylee has created.

When I started this business back in 2012, I never imagined where God would take it. What began as a small bookkeeping business has grown into something far beyond what I could have dreamed.

And now… TEXAS AND ALASKA! 🤠🏔️
