If you applied for a mortgage and suddenly got bombarded with calls offering 4.3% rates… that’s likely from trigger leads.

When your credit is pulled, the bureaus can sell that data. Other lenders then start calling you — even though you didn’t contact them.

A law has now been passed and this should end this on March 5th. (I’ll put this info in comments)

⚠️ Be careful. The new work around for this that predatory companies are using are teaser ads showing super low rates without clear terms are often just fishing for your personal information.
I have added some screen shots below of mortgage news daily vs. these crazy ads.
