Please help us welcome Ben to the team at David Strawhorn State Farm Insurance! Ben will primarily be working out of the Irmo office. Let’s have a meet and three with Ben:

1. I am originally from New Jersey, but I have lived up and down the East Coast my whole life. I graduated from Battery Creek High School in Beaufort and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where I deployed twice in support of OIF/OEF as an infantryman with 1/8 Alpha Company. After I completed my service in the USMC, I entered into my Law Enforcement career in Pennsylvania and recently retired. I’m excited to start my newest career with David Strawhorn State Farm Insurance.

2. I enjoy spending time with my wife, two kids and two boxers. We like to hike, bike, boat, and do anything sports related. I also enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.

3. My favorite side item at a meat-and-three restaurant would either be jalapeño hush puppies or collard greens! Our favorite restaurant so far has been Home Team BBQ in Columbia! Home Team BBQ COLA
