Your Medicare plan can change from one year to the next — and so can your doctors’ networks, prescription costs, copays, benefits, and other out-of-pocket costs.

AEP is a good time to review your current coverage and make sure it still fits your needs for the year ahead.

📌 Important Marketplace Update for 2027

Cigna Healthcare has announced that it will no longer offer Individual and Family medical plans through the ACA Marketplace beginning in 2027.

If you currently have a Cigna Marketplace plan, your 2026 coverage remains in place through December 31, 2026. However, you will need to select a different health plan for 2027 during the upcoming Open Enrollment Period.

Medicare Part D Changes Are Coming in 2027... But There's No Need to Panic.

You may have seen headlines about Medicare Part D changes and prescription drug plan premiums for 2027.

Here's what we know:

- CMS has announced that the temporary Part D Premium Stabilization Demonstration will end after the 2026 plan year.

- Preliminary 2027 Medicare figures have been released.

❗However, we are still waiting for CMS to release the final plan details that will tell us exactly how these changes may affect beneficiaries.

My advice?

Don't make Medicare decisions based on headlines.

Every year, plans, premiums, provider networks, and prescription drug coverage can change. The best time to review your options is when the official information becomes available before Medicare Annual Enrollment.

I'll continue following CMS updates and will share accurate, easy-to-understand information as it's released.
