The Purse Bar founded 2019 in loving memory of Maurice Harper.
My siblings father always supported my mama and her hustles and gave her a family to start a business with when main family wouldn’t even lift a finger. Contrary to my father who had all of the ability to help her , my stepfather gave her the gift of an Angel , 100k in life insurance.
My mommy was stressed the hell out starting this business. It was solely 3 main workers for the store , Her me and my siblings whichever wanted to work.
We started in ATL GA , Marietta St , downtown , rent was 1800 .
We had one celebrity client I remember my mama was ecstatic and the vision never ended . Even when I quit and she had to go to work everyday to replace me. She never gave up on the Purse Bar.
2020 she got a break. She tripled the business and got 3 new locations , St Louis , Indianapolis, And Peoria.
2021 The Purse Bar made over 100,000 in sales , she was the CEO of a newly found profitable company.
The Purse Bar sold fashionable affordable purses and always was in stock and style
Before 2022 , all 3 stores had began to close. And her dream got bigger, she wanted the store to have its own location.
2023 The dream grew quiet, like a plant in the winter , it grew cold , nobody saw its beauty , no one heard its cries, and like the Phoenix bird, it was time the Dream Came true,
The Purse Bar Extended Was reopened with a blessing from God , a personal Angel to keep the vision alive,
As the new CEO , I seen the tears my mama put into this company , I know her struggles and I know the possibilities. Well done mama , 2023 We loss Our Queen but We gained An Angel In HEAVEN 🙏🏾💋 To The Purse Bar Forever 🦄
