An alligators ankles are ... unique ... to say the least. With such a wide range of motion, Dr. Morgan Turner studies the animal to utilize large multi-bone datasets. However, this poses several animation and data visualization challenges.
Join us through Zoom on Friday, February 4th, at 2:30PM in welcoming Dr. Turner and her research—including reptile related work and beyond!
With a background in paleontology, evolutionary biology, locomotion, foot function, X-ray videography, animation, illustration, and visualization of spatially and temporally referenced multivariate data, Dr. Turner's research interests lie in analysis and visualization of motion and 3-D biomechanical data.
