Let’s talk about it.
One thing I’ve learned as both a coach and a final expense agent is this:
Most people don’t avoid planning because they don’t care.
They avoid it because talking about mortality feels uncomfortable.
I’ve sat across from people who can talk for hours about retirement, vacations, investments, and their grandchildren… but the moment the conversation shifts to “What would happen if you weren’t here?” the room gets quiet.
I understand.
As a coach, I know that growth begins where avoidance ends.
As a final expense agent, I know that one conversation today can prevent heartache, confusion, and financial stress tomorrow.
Planning ahead isn’t about expecting the worst.
It’s about loving your family well enough to prepare them for one of life’s hardest moments.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can say isn’t,
“I’ll be fine.”
It’s,
“I’ve already thought about you, even after I’m gone.”
That’s not giving up.
That’s leadership.
That’s legacy.
That’s love.
If this post makes you think of someone you love—even if it’s yourself—don’t scroll past the feeling.
Start the conversation.
Because the conversations we avoid today often become the decisions our families are forced to make tomorrow.
Let’s talk about it. 💯
