Hold On (Your Time Is Coming)
Life can bring us challenges so unexpected that it can wreak havoc to our faith. Living your best life may take you through your worst times. Those times are seeds sown for Gods testament of what he has in store for you. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” When we look deep inside of ourselves we connect with our most intimate place. It is here that fears are calmed and victory is reassured. It is times of helplessness and hopelessness that weigh on us the most. No one carries our weight it is ours to bear. Faith will be of the utmost importance and by that faith you will get through this. It will require perseverance, believing you are worth it and a go get it attitude.
Everything moves forward without regards to circumstance or status. You now have unlimited options and choices. Believing in your self determines how much you love your self. Genesis 1:27 “So God created mankind in his own image in the image of God he created them male and female he created them.” Our DNA gives us an advantage. Sacrifices were made to ensure that we would prosper. The sacrifices made for us can never be measured. Those sacrifices are the foundation of our faith. To know your self is to love yourself. The more you know the more you love. Your mindset is determined by your perception. When you believe you were meant for the best it will show in your actions. We were deemed to live our life to the fullest. It should be the goal to complete this principle.
Life offers no shortcuts or roadmaps that guarantee you anything in life. The guarantee is that faith allows you to believe in something bigger than your situation or circumstance. Belief gives you the intestinal fortitude to accomplish your goals. Without it nothing gets done. The key is knowing, what you are made of and believing you are worth what you believe. The more you know the more you believe. It will be fuel to take you to the next level.

Watch Your Step

As you grow as a person what you do and how you do it are the benefactors that determine where you are going and how you are going to get there. How you did it and what you did determined your current position in life. With everything you do, did and where you are in life, is the direct result of what was caused by those actions. From good things in your life to the bad ones, what you did or didn't do has a major impact on your current circumstances. If we learn to take the good things into our future we stand a better chance of succeeding. Recognizing the bad things for what they were and leaving them behind gives you closure. Breaking old habits that were practiced and believed in will not be easy but once you do the benefits will be too big to measure.

The road to empowerment is unique and different for everyone. There is no clear road map or plan that fits everyone. Your circumstances, your environment, your values, character and your drive are key components that shape you as to how you maneuver and travel on your journey to an empowered life. How you are able to overcome obstacles and gain access to the resources necessary to assist you along the way are important keys that will fuel you with the energy to accomplish your life goals. It all starts with realizing what you are up against and developing a plan to overcome those obstacles in order to reach your goal. The keener you become with your focus and the stronger you become in your conviction, the clearer it will become as to how your plans are working and what you to need to tweak in order to make them and your life goals to become a reality.

As you proceed on your journey, other aspects, relevant to your position will come in to play. You will understand that your time is valuable and if not used correctly will work against you. It will become imperative to you that you must keep momentum going forward. Once you gain the insight that every misstep is a step backwards, you become cognizant of what you need to do and how you will do it. If you are not moving forward, you are truly moving backwards, because time waits for know one. Keeping your focus on what you are trying to achieve and keeping your mind clear is imperative to your success. Plan your steps carefully.

Step Your Game Up

In my other profession, I deal with people struggling with life issues from finance to relationships. Although, the gap between these issues is a large one, they all have a couple of things in common. They are all problems and they all need to be dealt with. When we choose to do nothing about our situations, we choose to let them have power over us. As mentioned in earlier articles you can’t change the inevitable but you can be, better prepared to deal with it. How and when we choose to deal with our issues, of any kind, influences the outcome of those issues. We experience different kinds of problems all the time. We need to develop different kinds of solutions.

Throughout life you will encounter, experience situations that you feel you are powerless, as far as resolving them. This assumption is far from the truth. We first need to realize that when you seek to understand the realities of the situation, is when the process of change for the betterment begins. This correlation works on any level, for any situation. Once it’s determined what the situation consists of, how the problem directly affects you and what your options are for dealing with the situation, you can develop a game plan. It depends on how focused you can stay, regarding your game plan, that will determine, what type of progress you can make. If your game plan does not consist of hard work, clear conscious goals and a clear cut method to attaining these goals, then your plan will have its first flaws. Knowing what you are dealing with is integral to your planning. Research the situation, look for alternative solutions and take full advantage of what’s available to you.

It’s always the easy way out, blaming, the government, society, racism and others. We hear, “If only this happens or things have been this way and they always will be this way.” Things stay the same, because we choose not to change them. It’s always easier to blame it on something or someone other than ourselves. Inaction can have far more repercussions, by allowing the situation to stay the same we allow it to become engrained and grow. The act or situation needs to be addressed. Doing something about your situation, starts the pendulum swinging, the opposite way. It needs momentum to continue its path. So instead of having a pity party, develop a stronger sense of self. When pressure is applied to a situation, it starts to change, even if the change is unwilling, it has no choice but to succumb to the pressure. We can’t change other people’s belief and practices, but we can influence how we are treated and respected by solving these situations with or without them. So when someone or something attempts to keep you boxed in, use that as fuel to strengthen those shoulder as you continue on the journey to empowerment.

Faith can simply be defined as believing in a power bigger than your self. But it entails much more than that. Understanding the content is the real story. Every story is different but still achieves the same results. Struggle in any form will have an effect as to what you choose to believe. Everything and everyone you've encountered has added to the complexity of your beliefs. When we take the good from our past to use as a foundation for our future our path to success takes roots. Believing in something bigger than your self involves going through something. It involves having experiences that are uniquely yours. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It is the substance of faith. Understanding who you are plays a major role. Faith without reason never prospers. Faith without direction won't reach a destination.

Belief is acceptance and trust. You develop faith through your beliefs and an understanding of what you can't control. Going through something gives you the intestinal fortitude to withstand. Delayed does not mean defeated. Your journey will take more than a day and many days you will tire and wonder if is it worth it. This is the root of your faith. Conquering trials and tribulations provide victories. Faith does not exist without validation. Your troubles help to build character. Character is a substance that no chemical equation can duplicate. When you have it, it is testament that you realize who you are and what you are capable of. You can't have character without faith. When you stand on God's word you learn how to endure and the importance of it. Don't let your troubles hold you down give them to the one who will release you from them. You just need to believe that you were meant for something.

Faith teaches you that there is an ever presence present in your life that will always be with you. It gives you a perspective of life from the inside out. You now have direction and reason. When trouble comes your way you are armed. When you build upon the good things you've experienced you gain the best chance and firmest foundation. It is a testament of your truth. The ever presence exist in every truth we have in our lives. It is a forever giving blessing. Life moves forward never changing direction or pace. We are living proof of this analogy. What we have gained must be used for its proper use. Knowing where came from and where you are going will be decided by the measurement of your faith.

To believe in something not seen by your eyes or heard by your ears takes strength and discernment. When we realize we were meant for something bigger than ourselves it validates we are listening to something from the inside out. That inside out listening is born of experience, pain, suffering and victories. It gauges our wealth to ourselves and the world. It demands that we get up when we fall down. It strengthens our resolve and leads us back to the lane that was meant for us. It shines a light to lead you toward your destiny. Pay attention to your inside that is the foundation of your faith.

The Truth About Self

As we become better stewards of our lives, we gain valuable insight as to what it will take to move our lives forward. As the world continues to move forward, so must we. What’s in the past is recorded in history never to come again. Life moves forward and we must move forward with it. When you empower yourself, you not only sustain life, you enrich it. Getting there will require focus, drive, tenacity and the retracing of your steps. As I grow, I realize that with my success there was an equal amount of failure. I live to retrace those steps everyday. How you utilize insight given to you, will determine your success and failure. The journey to empowerment must include a keen understanding of who you truly are. The obstacles and pitfalls that we encounter were surely coming. How we overcome obstacles and avoid pitfalls is crucial in our quest for empowerment.
